KEAM CEE Paper Pattern:

There will be two papers in the KEAM 2019 i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers will have 120 questions of 4 marks each. In Paper 1, questions will be asked from Physics and Chemistry subjects and in Paper 2 questions will be from the Mathematics subject only.

KEAM Exam Pattern 2019:

KEAM 2018 written exam will be conducted in the month of April 2019. You can have a look down and get the complete Kerala CEE Paper Pattern/ Kerala CEE Exam Pattern:
  • Course: By qualifying Kerala Engineering entrance exam, aspirants will get admission to engineering courses and pharmacy.
  • Number of Papers: Paper I and II will be conducted for engineering exam.
  • Number of KEAM Questions:  Total 120 questions will be asked in each paper of engineering.
  • Mode of Exam: Exam will be conducted through pen and paper mode and OMR answer sheet will be provided to the candidates answer the questions
  • Type of Questions: all the questions in the question paper will be of objective type and total five options will be available in each question and the candidates have to choose one correct option among them.
  • KEAM Marking Scheme4 marks will be awarded to the candidates for every correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: There will be additional deduction of 1 mark form the total score for each incorrect response.
  • Subjects: Paper I will have subjects namely Physics and Chemistry and Paper II will have Mathematics. For B.Pharm and Pharm.D. Aspirants can appear in only one paper.
  • KEAM Exam DurationDuration of the exam is 150 minutes (2 ½ hours) that means candidates have to complete the paper between (10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
  • Total Marks: The exam will be of total 480 marks.

KEAM Marking Scheme:

KEAM Qualifying Marks:

To qualify in the KEAM 2019 and get their name in the KEAM merit list, candidate needs to score more than 10 marks in each paper. Candidates, who do not score the minimum qualifying marks, will not qualify in the KEAM Entrance Exam and will not be shortlisted for admission in the desired course. Those candidates who do not answer even the single question in the KEAM exam will be disqualified and won’t be allowed to participate in t6he further admission round.
