ONGC scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for ONGC Scheme 2018:

Candidates must fulfill the specified eligibility details to apply for ONGC scholarship 2018-

• Candidates belonging to India will be eligible for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited Scholarship
• ONGC scholarship scheme is for SC/ST candidates who are doing any professional course in any of these streams including medical, engineering, MBA, geology, geophysics form a reputed university or institute.
• Candidates doing four years Engineering/MBBS courses/Two years Masters courses in Business Administration and Two years Master's Degree in Geology/Geophysics can apply for ONGC scheme.
• The interested aspirants must have achieved at least 60% marks in 12th class for MBBS and engineering disciplines.

Age Limitation ONGC India Scholarship:

To obtain ONGC SC/ST 1000 scholarship, the candidates must not be above 30 years of age as on 1st of October, 2018 for the Academic Session

ONGC Scholarship Reward:

• The best scholarship rewards will be provided to the students of Rs. 48,000 each
• The rewards will be applicable only if the candidates’ family annual income is not above Rs. 4.50 lakhs per annum (i.e. Rs. 37,500/- per month)

Selection Process In ONGC Scheme For SC/ST Students:

• The student’s selection for ONGC 2018 scholarship will be purely on the basis of the examinational scores achieved for each course.
• For engineering/MBBS, the qualifying exam is 12th and for master in geology, geophysics and MBA is graduation.
• Apart from SC/ST students, other category will be considered if the available candidates from below poverty line family are not present during the ONGC scholarship result.
