Candidates must be:
  • Citizen of India OR Subject of Nepal OR Subject of Bhutan

Person of Indian origin who has migrated from, Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settle down in India.

SSC CGL 2018 Educational Qualification

For Assistant Audit/Accounts Officer: Candidates must complete his/her graduation from a recognized university/college with good academic record.

Desirable Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) / Company secretary (CS)/master in Commerce / Business Studies / Economics or Business Administration (Finance)

For Statistical Investigator Grade – II post: Candidate must have posses a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% marks in mathematics at XII Class.

For All Other Posts: Applicants should have graduation degree from a recognized University/Institute.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria for Physical Fitness

It is mandatory for the candidates to fulfill the SSC CGL exam eligibility criteria, here you can check the physical standards as per your post.

For the Post of Inspector/ Sub-Inspector/ Examiner/Preventive Officer/Excise Inspector post:

81 cm (with a minimum expansion of 5cms)

Relaxation in weight and height will be provided to reserved category candidates as per the norms of the organization.

Physical Test

1.6 KMs in 15 minutes
8 KMs in 30 minutes
1 KM in 20 minutes
3 KMs in 25 minutes

For the Post of Sub- Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation:

 76 cms
Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye
Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

For the Post of Sub- Inspector in National Investigation Agency:

170 cms
 76 cms (with expansion)
Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye
