How to
Calculate CGPA & Percentage with Help of CBSE CGPA Grade Calculator?
With the help of CBSE CGPA Marks Converter
or CBSE CGPA Marks Calculator, students can calculate the CGPA; applicants can
follow the steps provided below
Add the grade points obtained from any 5 subjects.
Now divide the sum by 5.
The result of the division will be the average CGPA.
To convert the Average CGPA into percentage, candidates must multiply the Avg. CGPA with 9.5.
Step 1: Add the Grade points 9 + 10 + 8 + 6 + 7 = 40
Here: “40” is the CGPA.
Step 2: Now, divide the CGPA by 5 to obtain the Average CGPA i.e. 40 / 5 =
8.
Here, “8” is the Average CGPA.
Step 3: Multiply the Average CGPA with 9.5 – 8 x 9.5 = 76.
Here, “76” is the percentage.

Why Multiply with 9.5?
After examining the result of last five years and searching the average marks of all students who scored between 91 to 100 and the average turned out to be close to 95 marks.
95 were then divided by 10 because 10 is the equivalent grade point for marks between 91 and 100, and the result was 9.5.
