Nationality for PSCWB Recruitment:
- Citizenship of India or such other nationalities as are declared eligible by Govt. of India.
- Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent
- Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali) – vide Finance Department Notification No. - 1243-F(P) dated 02-23-2016.
- Must possess sound health and ability to undertake extensive tours in rural areas of west Bengal.

After getting selected for West Bengal PSC Recruitment/ WBPSC Recruitment 2018 candidates will be given their monthly remuneration according to the
pay scale of (PB-2) Rs.5, 400/- to 25,200/- + G.P. Rs.2,600/- -besides D.A.,
M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules
WBPSC Application form Fees:
- While filling up the West Bengal PSC Sub Inspector Recruitment form candidates need to pay an amount of Rs.110/- as application fees.
- Along with application fees candidates need to pay Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for online payment through debit/credit card plus service charge /GST as applicable as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment).

WBPSC Job Age Limitations:
- Age of candidate applying for WBPSC Job must not be less than 21 years and not more than 36 years on 01.01.2018.
- The age-limit shall be relaxable only in cases of candidates belonging to the Schedule Castes or the Scheduled Tribes or the Other Backward Classes (OBC-A and OBC-B) or the physically handicapped as per the extant rules or order of the Government.
After getting selected candidates will be
given their monthly remuneration according to the pay scale of (P.B. – 4)
Rs.9,000/- - Rs.40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,700/-.
WBPSC Application Fees:
While submitting the PSCWB Recruitment application
form candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.160/- as application fees.
S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.)
having physical disability of 40% and above are exempted from paying the application
amount.
