Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2018 is being conducted for admission to government share of seats in Under Graduate Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Farm Science and others Courses. All of the applicants must have qualified 12th standard examination to be eligible for KCET 2018 examination.

KCET Application Form Correction 2018:

Karnataka Examination Authority provides a facility to do correction in KCET Application Form. This facility was available only once. Through this applicants get a chance  to edit or correct the information that they have submitted at the time of registration.

KCET Eligibility Criteria:

For Engineering/Architecture Courses:

Applying contender should have to qualify 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board along with this applicant must have passed their examination with Mathematics & Physics as a main subject & English as a language subject.

Candidates should have also scored minimum 45% marks in physics and mathematics along with one of the subjects (Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Chemistry/Computer science) for KCET 2018.
It is to note that for SC/ST category candidates, minimum requirement is 40% marks. Appearing candidates can also apply; those wish to apply for architecture course they must attain a valid NATA score card.

For Pharmacy/Science Courses:
  • Contenders who wish to apply for Pharmacy/Science Courses should have passed their 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent examination with PCB and English as a language subject against KCET 2018 Exam Notification.
  • It is therefore essential for the aspirants that they must have scored atleast 50% marks in PCB group whereas for of SC/ST category candidates the requirement is 40% for KCET 2018 Notification.
  • Aspirants who are appearing can also apply for KCET Notification 2018.
KCET 2018 Application Fee:

Contenders are required to pay application fee through either through online mode suing Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card or through Challan. When you reach this section, you will see a Challan in triplicate on screen.

There is one bank copy, one applicant copy, and one KEA copy. Download and print it. Challan has key information like name, CET number, college / course allotted details, fee to be paid, and bank account number.

KCET 2018 Admission Process:

Admission to Under Graduate Courses will be done on basis of their Performance in Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2018 and Counselling. Karnataka CET Counselling process will be started from 2nd week of June 2018.

Instructions to Fill KCET 2018 Application Form:

Candidates need to follow below steps to fill Karnataka CET 2018 Online Application Form:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website
  • Go to the official web portal of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) that is kea.kar.nic.in
  • Now go To ‘Flash News’ column available at the right side of the page and hit on ‘CET-2018’ link.

Step 2: Step 3 – Login Using application ID and Password

If you are the old user you will be asked to enter your KCET Login 2018 is but if you new user you have to create your login id and password by hitting the “New User” link to fill the KCET Online Registration Form 2018. You will have to enter the following “Student Details” for KCET 2018 Online Registration.
  • Whether the Student is a Citizen of India?
  • Are you appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination 2018 (Science)?

Step 4: Now you get to the first page of the online form.

Step 7: Final Submission of Karnataka CET 2018 Application Form
  • Next, the candidates need to sign the “Declaration”. Form filling’s data entry part is over now.
  • Now you will upload images. Here you will upload photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.
  • Make payment of requisite application fee.
  • Now, recheck the entered details carefully in KCET Online Application Form 2018 and then hit “Submit” button.
  • Lastly, take a printout of your filled KCET 2018 Application Form for future use.
KCET Admit Card 2018:

Candidates who will be appearing in the examination must be keen to down load the KCET Call letter; they are informed that they may download their KCET Hall Ticket 2018 via online mode through this page only. KCET 2018 Admit Card is expected to release in the 3rd week of April 2018. 

Hall ticket will contain detailed information about the candidate such as candidate’s name, roll number, address of the exam center, date of exam & time etc. Aspirants would not be allowed to enter in the examination hall without call letter, so keep it safe and secure.

KCET Results 2018:

KCET Counseling 2018:

Karnataka CET Counselling process will commence from 2nd week of June 2018, candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list or KCET 2018 Cut Off they are required to attend the counselling process in the entrance examination. 

The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in entrance examination, seat availability & choices filled by them. Aspirants can appear for further counselling rounds, if they will not be satisfied with the seat allotment.
