What was the Reaction,
after hearing the News?
After hearing the news, I just jumped with
happiness at that moment and kept shaking for a few minutes. Later On, I met
with the teachers and discussed their scores with reporters and admirer.
How Pre-Board Helped
Her?
- Meghna Srivastava said that the pre-boards helped her while preparing for the exams and she solved a lot of question papers of previous years to prepare for the examination.
- She Tole: I have been very consistent and I would plan my revisions. I did not over pressurize myself. I always focused on my timelines and never indulged in studying at the last moment”.
Tell me about, how
you scored 100 Percentile in most of the subjects?
Well, I got 499 marks out of 500. It got 99
in English (Core), while in other subjects — Psychology, History, Geography and
Economics etc I scored 100. Scoring 100 percentile is not so harder, but it can
be easily achieved by studied strategically.

You were affected
after the paper leak or not?
- She was one of students who was affected after the paper leak and had to appear for a retest, which she said was "quite frustrating".
- She told that- "I was very frustrated after the news about paper leak had emerged and a retest was announced.
- Despite studying so hard, we had to suffer. But gradually I settled down and decided to study four-five days before the retest," she said.
What was the strategy
you follow up, while studying?
So, start work on Quality, not on quantity,
because it doesn’t matters. When, I used to study, I simply focused on
important chapters and topics. And, I didn’t take any coaching; I not at all
felt the need for it.
On the other hand, I am not talented who
can read and remember everything, there are so many books and there is a lot to
study material. So, make plan your study according to updated study material,
provided by school.

Srivastava said that she intends to pursue
psychology and want to study from University of British Columbia.

Motivational Experience?
- She said that she was one of leaders in a community service project of her school.
- "My school had adopted a village in Uttarakhand as part of a community service project.
- We took a trip of two-three days where we set up a 'gaushala' in the village and also taught students, which was quite an enriching experience," she said.
