may apply for the NSD Admission 2019. The preference would be given to the
candidates form the southern state of India. For NSD Admission 2019, students
have to clear various admission rounds to get admission in 3 year diploma
course in dramatic arts offered by the NSD.

Eligibility Criteria of NSD:
- For admission in NSD candidates are required to satisfy the eligibility. Applying candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university or college.
- Also, applicant must have participated in minimum six theatre productions. Candidates must have working knowledge of English and Hindi.
Age Limitation:
Minimum age limit for admission in NSD is
20 years and maximum is 30 years as or on 1st July 2019. Age relaxation of 5
years will be prescribed for the SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee:
At the time of filling admission form,
applicants are required to pay
application fee of Rs. 150/- for all the candidates. Candidates
obtaining application by post are required to pay Rs. 225/-. Candidates can
make the fee payment through demand draft drawn in favor of “The Director,
National School of Drama, and New Delhi”.
NSD Selection Method:
- Selection of the aspirants will be made on the basis of their performance / Audition and physical test.
- Qualified candidates will have to attend a workshop of 2 to 4 days for final selection.
- Students selected for admission will have to undergo a medical test for physical fitness at NSD, New Delhi.
- After selection, candidates will be reward by scholarship of Rs 4500/- p.m. to meet their academic and other expenses.
NSD 2019 Exam Pattern:
The exam will be conducted through offline
mode. The questions will be asked from topics like Aptitude and Acting Skills.
The exam medium will be in Hindi or English language. Candidates have to choose
any one language among them.

The admit card will be released before 1 or
2 weeks from the examination date. Candidates who have successfully submitted
the application form can get the admit card. The hall ticket will have details
